The Mersmak Kryddor linen napkin is a decorative napkin with a playful botanical expression. The pattern was created by Swedish pattern designer Hanna Werning and draws inspiration from spices, herbs and plants. Soft natural tones are combined with green, ochre and blue details. In addition, the natural texture of the linen gives the napkin a relaxed and lively look. It is equally suitable for everyday dinners and festive occasions.
Pair it with a tablecloth or table runner from the Boheme collection in natural, dove blue or dark chocolate, together with rustic wood and green details, to create a warm and personal table setting.
Material: 100% linen
Size: 47 × 47 cm.
The Mersmak Kryddor collection consists of kitchen towels, napkins, cushion covers and paper napkins. Mersmak Kryddor was developed in collaboration with artist and pattern designer Hanna Werning.
“It was very easy to say yes to collaborating with Fredrik and Axlings. There was an immediate sense of joy and ease in our first meeting. I am drawn to linen as the magnificent base material it is, but also to Axlings’ balanced and playful colour palette.
(Linen has a special place in my heart. It is an ancient material that people have worked with, used, braided and woven since time immemorial. I also enjoy growing flax myself, mainly for its delicate flowers and beautiful seed heads.)
The collaboration with Axlings has developed very naturally over the past year. I like to think of it as a locally grown project. Fredrik is energetic and positive and often stops by my studio, where we sit down and brainstorm ideas together. He usually has a wish or a starting point that I then develop further.” Hanna Werning
