Towel Waffle is an easy-care and iron-free towel with fantastic absorbency! This weaving technique is very much older than terry cloth. Unwashed, the waffle fabric is relatively flat, but when washed, it shrinks, with some parts rising while others form small “pits”. You have a waffle effect, not unlike a freshly baked waffle! When washed, the waffle contracts and becomes smaller, but at the same time thicker.
Choose how you want it: Unironed and thick or ironed and flatter and larger. Wash separately.
